- The Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing all shipping, logistics, and port operations to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods.
- The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective operations, smooth coordination with shipping lines, port authorities, and internal stakeholder, while maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing shipping schedules and operational strategies
- Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Monitoring costs, budgets and profitability
- Enforcing maritime laws (anti-smuggling, anti-piracy, immigration)
- Working closely with agencies e.g NPA, NIMASA, Nigeria Navy etc
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- First degree in BSC / HND in Maritime Security, PFSO, Transport and Logistics, Maritime Studies, SCM, Nautical Science
- A Master's Degree and a professional qualification would be an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience
