Customer Service Officer

Job Summary

• The Customer Service Officer is responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with customers, responding to enquiries, receiving and processing orders, resolving complaints, and ensuring customers receive prompt and satisfactory service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and respond professionally to customers' enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, and other communication channels.
• Receive, record, confirm, and process customer orders accurately.
• Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery in collaboration with the dispatch team.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, orders, payments, complaints, and feedback.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to confirm satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Promote the company's products and services to prospective customers when required.
• Prepare daily and weekly customer service reports.
• Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Accounts, Production, and Dispatch teams.
• Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality when dealing with customers.

• Ability to attract and retain customers through excellent service.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Previous customer service or sales experience is an advantage.
• Female candidates are preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of WhatsApp and other digital communication platforms.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Smart, presentable, polite, proactive, and customer-focused.
• Must be honest, reliable, organized, and disciplined.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 per month.
