Entry-Level Sales Representative (Automotive Products)

Job Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Entry-Level Sales Representative to drive the growth of our high-quality automotive oil supplements across Lagos. In this role, you will be on the field, building direct relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry. Your primary goal will be to introduce our products, run live demonstrations, and secure bulk orders to expand our market footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Prospecting: Identify and visit major mechanic villages (e.g., Ladipo, Ikeja, Lekki, Surulere), auto repair shops, spare parts markets, and transport fleet managers across Lagos.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct practical, convincing demonstrations to show mechanics and retailers how our oil supplements improve engine performance and longevity.
- Sales & Distribution: Pitch products, negotiate pricing within company guidelines, secure orders, and ensure prompt product delivery.
- Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Market Feedback: Monitor competitor pricing, tracking new trends in the Lagos automotive market, and report findings to management weekly.
Job Requirements
- Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field. (A strong passion for sales is more important than your field of study).
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience. Prior experience in field sales, direct marketing, or the automotive industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be highly persuasive and resilient.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Pidgin English is mandatory. Ability to speak Yoruba or Igbo is highly preferred to build rapport in local markets.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort with regular field travel and navigating the commercial landscape of Lagos daily.
