Job Summary
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team.
- This role offers hands-on experience in a professional pharmacy setting, supporting pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and friendly patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Support inventory management, including stock checks, expiry-date monitoring, and product shelving.
- Help maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
- Provide courteous customer service and direct clients to the pharmacist when clinical advice is needed.
- Assist with preparing non-sterile products and packaging medicines, where permitted.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Support health-promotion activities and other day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Recently graduated from an accredited pharmacy programme.
- Eligibility to complete an internship in line with local pharmacy regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow professional instructions.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy practice, medicines, and confidentiality requirements.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications is an advantage.
