Assistant IT Manager

- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant IT Manager to support the management of the company's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity systems, business applications, and manufacturing technology platfor
- The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems while supporting digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, printers, databases, and communication systems.
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of IT systems supporting business and manufacturing operations.
- Support and administer ERP systems and other business-critical applications.
- Provide technical support and timely resolution of user issues across all departments.
- Monitor and maintain network security, data protection, and cybersecurity measures.
- Conduct system backups, disaster recovery tests, and vulnerability assessments.
- Support manufacturing systems such as ERP, MRP, MES, SCADA, and PLC interfaces.
- Coordinate software installations, upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
- Maintain IT documentation, licenses, asset registers, and system records.
- Generate reports on system performance, IT projects, security incidents, and operational metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, IT governance standards, and data protection regulations.
- Conduct periodic IT audits and risk assessments.
- Coordinate CCTV installation and maintenance activities with the Security Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years relevant IT experience.
- 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience within the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems, production systems, and industrial automation environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, system administration, and IT infrastructure management.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Other relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.

Salary
N550,000 Gross Monthly
