Backend Engineer - LLM Infrastructure (Remote)

Summary

• Reviel Technologies is building an emotional intelligence platform that helps people catch burnout before it catches them. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to own our LLM infrastructure from the ground up.

What you'll do

• Deploy and manage LLMs on Azure (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure ML, AKS)
• Build inference pipelines — model loading, batching, autoscaling
• Design REST/gRPC APIs that bring AI capabilities into our products
• Implement RAG patterns, prompt management, and context injection
• Build evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs (accuracy, hallucination rate, latency, safety)
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with LLM-specific quality gates
• Apply AI security best practices — Key Vault, network isolation, access control.

What we need

• 3+ years backend engineering with Python and/or Node.js
• Hands-on experience deploying LLMs or ML models in production
• Strong Azure proficiency (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AKS, DevOps, Monitor)
• REST API design, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes
• CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).

Bonus:

• LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
• Vector DBs (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG architectures
• Fine-tuning, RLHF, or prompt engineering.
