- The Front Office Staff/GSA serves as one of the primary points of contact between the hotel and its guests, ensuring a warm welcome, efficient guest service and a smooth experience throughout the guest's stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately.
- Confirm reservations and provide guests with relevant information about their accommodation and hotel facilities.
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Handle telephone calls, messages and other guest communications.
- Maintain accurate guest records and front-office documentation.
- Process payments and provide receipts where applicable.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status and availability.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure guest requests are handled promptly.
- Maintain a professional and organized front desk at all times.
- Promote hotel facilities, services and available offerings to guests.
- Follow established procedures for guest privacy, safety and security.
- Prepare and submit required front-office reports.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Supervisor or Manager.
