- Dispense prescription medications accurately and legally
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and potential drug interactions
- Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, storage, and proper medication use
- Maintain patient medication records and confidentiality
- Monitor patient health progress and medication effectiveness
- Provide advice on over-the-counter medications and health products
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of drugs
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staffs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) in Pharmacy
- Valid pharmacist license from the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Little or High level of Computer Literacy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
