Field Sales Officer

Job Summary

• The Field Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales of GreenOrigin Agro’s products to farmers, wholesale and bulk customers, and partners across an assigned territory.
• The role involves building trust-based customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and onboarding new wholesale and bulk customers to grow the customer base.
• The Field Sales Officer will educate customers on product benefits and usage, track sales performance, gather market feedback, and ensure customers receive excellent service.
• The role reports to the COO and works closely with the operations team so that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• The role requires dedication, a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the readiness to work hard.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of products and services to clients and partners across assigned territories.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers for long-term engagement.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand customer reach within your territory.
• Track sales performance and provide regular reports and insights to management.
• Gather market feedback to inform product improvement and business strategy.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess an OND/HND/BSc in any related field
• 0-2 years of experience in operations, logistics, inventory, or procurement

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Dedicated and committed to the role, with a strong work ethic and the readiness to work hard to deliver results.
• Self-motivated with the drive to meet and exceed targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Basic data reporting skills; familiarity with sales tracking tools is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and relevant local language(s) preferred.

What We Offer

• Monthly salary: N75,000
• Sales commission: paid for every new wholesale or bulk customer onboarded, per the company commission scheme
• 7 days of paid annual leave
• Annual appraisal bonus
