Production Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, and achieve production targets.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plastics manufacturing, with strong knowledge of production planning and factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and within agreed timelines.
- Manage production teams, shift schedules, and workforce productivity.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, downtime, and operational issues.
- Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials, machinery, and other production resources.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Implement measures to reduce production waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Engineering, Production Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5 - 8 years of relevant production experience, preferably within the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with plastics production processes and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and factory operations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage production teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven manufacturing environment.
Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 Gross Monthly.
