Social Media Manager / Content Creator

Role Overview

• Codelabprojects Nigeria Limited is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly motivated Social Media Manager / Content Creator to drive the company's digital presence through engaging content creation, multimedia production, and strategic social media marketing.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing compelling content, managing social media platforms, producing high-quality photo and video content, and developing innovative marketing ideas that generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.
• The ideal candidate must be confident, highly creative, and passionate about storytelling through digital media. Candidates with an Engineering-related background will have an added advantage due to the technical nature of the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
• Plan, create, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other digital platforms.
• Capture high-quality photographs and videos using DSLR, mirrorless cameras, and other media equipment.
• Produce engaging reels, promotional videos, product demonstrations, interviews, and corporate event coverage.
• Edit videos, photographs, and digital content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software.
• Develop creative content ideas and marketing campaigns that support business growth and customer acquisition.
• Manage the company's content calendar and ensure consistent publishing across all digital platforms.
• Monitor social media performance, engagement metrics, and campaign analytics, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the company's products and services.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to improve content performance.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A degree in an Engineering-related discipline is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in social media marketing, content creation, digital marketing, or media production.
• Hands-on experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other media production tools.
• Experience creating and editing professional photo and video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing, content strategy, and audience engagement.
• Excellent photography, videography, and visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to generate innovative content ideas that increase audience engagement and generate business leads.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content within deadlines.
