Human Resources (HR) Manager

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organisation’s HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, staff development, and compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to implement effective HR strategies that align with the organisation’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
• Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures in line with organisational objectives.
• Oversee employee relations, staff welfare, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance management.
• Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems to enhance employee productivity and professional development.
• Coordinate payroll administration, compensation, benefits, and employee records in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal company policies.
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programmes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and prepare periodic HR reports for management.
• Promote employee engagement, workplace culture, staff retention, and effective internal communication.
• Advise management on workforce planning, organisational development, and people-management strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, including experience in a managerial role.
• Professional certification such as CIPM, CIHRM, or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
• Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, payroll coordination, and HR policy implementation.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems.
• High levels of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgement.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: N400,000 Monthly Net.
• Full-time employment.
• Immediate resumption.
