Job Summary
- The Chinese Chef/Cook will be responsible for preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, ensuring high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- The role requires expertise in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, flavor balancing, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation: Plan and prepare a variety of Chinese dishes (Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, etc.).
- Cooking techniques: Utilize wok cooking, steaming, braising, and stir-frying methods.
- Ingredient management: Source, store, and handle authentic Chinese ingredients.
- Quality control: Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
- Kitchen hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards.
