Job Summary

• We are seeking for a Corporate Lawyer to join our Legal & Compliance team.
• We are open to lawyers who have recently been called to the Nigerian Bar, as well as candidates with some relevant post-qualification experience.
• This is an opportunity for a motivated legal professional to build strong corporate and commercial law experience within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on corporate, commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and support the negotiation of contracts, agreements, letters, and other legal documents.
• Support the Company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear and practical legal opinions.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the review and development of Company policies, agreements, SOPs, and other corporate documents.
• Identify potential legal and compliance risks and support appropriate mitigation.
• Maintain proper documentation of legal matters and provide timely support to Management and other departments.

What We're Looking For

• LL.B from a recognized university.
• Called to the Nigerian Bar and in good standing.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; newly called lawyers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of corporate and commercial law.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
