Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to manage the organization's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and support sound financial decision-making.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience in financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations.
- Process payments, invoices, receipts, and journal entries in a timely manner.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective treasury management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions, including PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, and other regulatory obligations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
- Monitor expenditure to ensure compliance with approved budgets and company policies.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee asset accounting.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and financial objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Salary
N300,000 onthly.
