Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
St. Michael's Hospital - 2 Openings
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic clinical and preventive healthcare services within the scope of practice.
- Support in vaccination services.
- Assist nurses and clinicians in delivering quality patient care.
- Monitor patients and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Support health education and community outreach activities.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the Nursing Department.
Requirements
- Valid CHEW qualification from a recognized institution.
- Current practicing license where applicable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous hospital experience will be an added advantage.
