Project Engineering Manager
an Oil & Gas / Energy Service Company - Empearl Consulting
Responsibilities
- Serve as the highest-level technical authority providing expert guidance on engineering design, operations, and asset management.
- Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges beyond the capacity of in-country
- Provide high-level input into design reviews, risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL), and critical system upgrades.
- Provide structured mentoring and coaching to Nigerian engineers, ensuring transfer of proprietary/OEM knowledge.
- Develop technical competence frameworks and training programs for succession planning.
- Act as the key liaison with regulators, OEMs, classification societies, and partners on critical technical issues.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or Systems Engineering
- 10-15 years in technical leadership across Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical industries, with a proven track record in high-value projects.
- Expert in international engineering standards.
