Job Summary

• The Store Officer will be responsible for the effective management of the company's raw materials, finished products, tools, equipment and other inventory, ensuring proper documentation and availability of stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
• Monitor the movement of materials, products and equipment in and out of the store.
• Issue materials to authorised personnel based on approved requests.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure proper arrangement, labelling and storage of materials and products.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock receipts and issues.
• Assist in identifying damaged, expired or obsolete stock.
• Prepare regular inventory and stock movement reports.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and safety within the store.
• Work closely with the production, procurement and accounts teams.
• Ensure that company assets, tools and materials are properly accounted for.
• Report any loss, damage, theft or unusual stock movement to management.

Requirements

• Must be Male.
• Possess OND / NCE in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics or a related discipline with 2 - 4 years work experience.
• Must be computer savvy.
• Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a store, warehouse or inventory position is an added advantage.
