Optometrist at Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital

Responsibilities
- Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
- Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions
- Direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice.
Qualifications
- Academic: Candidates should possess an O.D(Doctor of Optometry) Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience
- Professional License: Must have a valid and updated practicing license fromOptometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN)
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Computer skills: Candidate must have good working knowledge of computer
- Registration: The ideal candidate must be a member of the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational, leadership, and teamworking skills.
