Geologist

Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Geologist with strong technical expertise in exploration, subsurface evaluation, geological interpretation, and field development to support exploration and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological studies, mapping, interpretation, and subsurface evaluations.
• Analyse well data, core samples, logs, seismic information, and geological models.
• Support exploration, drilling, well planning, and field development activities.
• Identify and evaluate hydrocarbon prospects and reserves.
• Prepare geological reports, maps, models, and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, drilling, and production teams.
• Provide geological input for well placement, formation evaluation, and reservoir characterisation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HSE, technical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
• Strong experience in exploration, subsurface interpretation, well-site geology, or field development.
• Proficiency in relevant geological and subsurface software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.
• Professional certification/membership is an added advantage.
