Job Description
- We are seeking a qualified, dedicated, and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our clinical team.
- The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based medical care while supporting clinical operations across various units of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Clerk, assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up on patients.
- Participate in ward rounds, on-call duties, and emergency care services.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with consultants, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Adhere to clinical governance, patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement standards.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full registration and a valid practicing licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification clinical experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
