Food and Nutrition Teacher
Spring of Life and Fountain of Wisdom Schools
Responsibilities
- Teach Food and Nutrition theory and practical classes.
- Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and practical activities.
- Educate students on healthy eating habits and balanced diets.
- Supervise food preparation and kitchen practical sessions.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen/laboratory.
- Assess and evaluate students’ academic and practical performance.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and life skills development among students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, NCE, or relevant qualification in Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, or related field.
- Previous teaching experience is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and kitchen management.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A Christian/Believer
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
