Digital Marketer (Remote)

Role Summary

• As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Digital Marketer to drive our digital marketing strategy, build engaged online communities, and generate qualified business opportunities through content-driven campaigns.
• We are looking for a commercially minded Digital Marketer whose primary responsibility is generating qualified business opportunities not simply managing social media.
• This role sits within the Business Development function and exists to support revenue generation through strategic digital marketing, community building, content marketing, and lead generation.
• The successful candidate will create digital campaigns, educational content, webinars, newsletters, lead magnets, and online communities that attract manufacturing business owners, CFOs, finance directors, investors, and strategic partners into the company's commercial pipeline.
• Success in this role is not measured by followers, likes, or impressions, but by the number of qualified leads generated, nurtured, and successfully handed over to the Business Development team.
• The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller who understands digital marketing, audience psychology, content strategy, AI-powered marketing tools, B2B lead generation, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy:

• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that support the company's commercial objectives and business development activities.
• Build campaigns that generate qualified enquiries for the company's advisory and consulting services.
• Align all marketing activities with the company's three commercial focus areas:
  • Manufacturing Operations Advisory
  • Alternative Funding Advisory
  • Capital Market/NASD Advisory
• Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimise for lead generation and conversion.

Content Marketing & Storytelling:

• Develop educational, insight-driven content that addresses the real challenges faced by manufacturers across Nigeria and Africa.
• Create compelling content across multiple channels including:
  • LinkedIn
  • Email newsletters
  • WhatsApp communities
  • Website
  • Landing pages
  • Short-form videos
  • Digital campaigns
• Produce content that positions the company as a trusted industry advisor.
• Translate complex financial and manufacturing concepts into simple, engaging content for business owners and decision-makers.

Community Growth & Engagement:

• Build, manage, and grow the company's digital communities with a focus on attracting manufacturers, investors, and strategic stakeholders.
• Drive meaningful conversations within online communities by encouraging engagement around manufacturing, funding, and operational challenges.
• Identify potential business opportunities emerging from community interactions and ensure qualified leads are routed promptly to the Business Development team.
• Maintain an active pipeline of community members through strategic outreach and engagement initiatives.

Lead Generation & Conversion Support

• Develop and promote lead-generation assets including:

  • Industry checklists
  • Assessment tools
  • Downloadable resources
  • Webinar registrations
  • Industry reports
• Support the Business Development team by generating qualified inbound enquiries.
• Monitor the digital sales funnel from awareness through conversion and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Ensure all qualified digital enquiries are properly documented and transferred to the Business Development team within agreed timelines.

Webinar & Campaign Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute webinars and virtual events targeted at manufacturers and business leaders.
• Manage webinar promotion, registrations, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up campaigns.
• Repurpose webinar content into multiple digital assets across various platforms.
• Coordinate integrated marketing campaigns supporting company initiatives, partnerships, and business development activities.

Email Marketing:

• Manage monthly newsletters targeted at manufacturers, investors, strategic partners, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain segmented mailing lists.
• Develop email campaigns that educate prospects while driving enquiries and consultations.

AI & Marketing Technology:

• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve:

  • Content creation
  • Campaign planning
  • Research
  • Workflow automation
  • Marketing analytics
  • Audience insights
• Continuously evaluate emerging digital tools that improve productivity and campaign performance.

Performance Reporting:

• Track and analyse marketing performance across all digital channels.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering:
  • Qualified leads generated
  • Community growth
  • Campaign performance
  • Newsletter performance
  • Webinar results
  • Website traffic
  • Conversion metrics
• Make recommendations based on campaign data and audience behaviour.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Digital Marketer will be evaluated based on measurable business outcomes, including:

• Qualified inbound leads generated.
• Qualified leads successfully handed over to the Business Development team within agreed timelines.
• Growth of the manufacturer's online community.
• Consistent LinkedIn publishing and quality engagement.
• Monthly newsletter delivery and performance.
• Webinar planning, attendance, and lead conversion.
• Downloads of lead-generation resources.
• Website traffic and landing page conversions.
• Campaign ROI and marketing performance.
• Contribution to overall business development objectives.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Digital Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.

Experience
Candidates must have:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Community Management, Brand Communications, Growth Marketing, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience building online communities that support business growth.
• Proven experience generating inbound leads through digital marketing campaigns.
• Experience planning and executing webinars, email campaigns, and digital lead-generation initiatives.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating measurable campaign results.
• Experience marketing professional services, consulting firms, B2B businesses, or corporate brands is highly desirable.

Salary
N400,000 – N700,000 Monthly (Depending on experience and demonstrated capability.)
