Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative and passionate Music Teacher to introduce students to music theory, practical music skills and performance.
- The successful candidate should be able to make music lessons engaging and encourage students to develop their musical abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students.
- Teach basic music theory, notation, rhythm and practical skills.
- Train students in singing and/or musical instruments within areas of competence.
- Prepare students for school performances and musical events.
- Organise rehearsals and support school cultural activities.
- Assess students' musical development and provide feedback.
- Maintain appropriate learning materials and musical resources.
- Encourage students to develop confidence and creativity through music.
- Collaborate with other teachers on school performances and activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree, NCE, diploma or relevant professional training in Music or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable knowledge and practical ability in music.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to teach music theory and practical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and young people.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
