Baker

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products according to approved recipes and standards.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to achieve consistent product quality.
• Operate and maintain ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment safely.
• Ensure proper proofing, baking, cooling, and storage of products.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and portion sizes.
• Monitor ingredient usage and report low or damaged stock to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bakery/work area at all times.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Minimize wastage and properly handle leftover or rejected products.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products before they are served or displayed.
• Work closely with the Head Baker, kitchen team, and other departments to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure all production activities are completed within the required timelines.
• Assist with inventory counts and proper storage of baking ingredients.
• Report equipment faults, production issues, or quality concerns promptly.
• Perform other baking-related duties assigned by management.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
