We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and results-driven Branch Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our retail branches.

Job Summary

The Branch Supervisor will be responsible for the overall daily operation and performance of the branch, including sales, inventory management, customer service, staff supervision, cash and POS accountability, product handling, cleanliness, and compliance with company procedures.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to drive sales while ensuring efficient branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the branch and ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate branch staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company policies.
  • Drive branch sales and work towards achieving assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints or concerns.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate recording of products received, sold, transferred, damaged, or returned.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with sales and stock records.
  • Minimise product loss, wastage, stock discrepancies, and avoidable operational expenses.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and display of frozen chicken products while maintaining the required cold-chain standards.
  • Monitor freezers, cold-storage equipment, electricity supply, and other branch facilities and promptly report faults.
  • Ensure all sales transactions are properly recorded and payments through POS, bank transfer, or other approved channels are accurately reconciled.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily sales, stock, cash/POS, expense, and operational reports to management.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation within the branch.
  • Ensure staff comply with attendance, dress code, customer service, hygiene, and operational requirements.
  • Support local marketing and customer acquisition activities to increase branch sales.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
  • Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements to management.
  • Protect company assets and ensure responsible use of equipment, inventory, and other resources.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in retail supervision, store management, sales, food service, frozen foods, FMCG, hospitality, or a related environment is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Good sales and customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to maintain accurate stock and sales records.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Good numerical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to use POS systems, Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp, and other basic digital business tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of honesty, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays where required by branch operations.

  • Accuracy and timeliness of daily reports

  • Proper management of company assets and equipment
  • Overall profitability and operational efficiency of the branch
