Maintenance Officer

Job Summary

• A proactive and skilled technical professional who will oversee the routine maintenance, tracking, and repairs of hospital facility assets and medical equipment.
• The candidate must be highly organized, capable of executing preventive maintenance schedules, and manage equipment logging with absolute adherence to healthcare safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry outregular inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of hospital equipment and physical infrastructure
• Track, log, and reconcile hospital assets, accessories, and maintenance records efficiently
• Respond promptly to technical breakdowns and coordinate rapid repairs to minimize downtime
• Ensure all facility equipment and maintenance protocols comply with relevant healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to address facility needs and equipment issues swiftly
• Manage inventory of spare parts and liaise with external vendors or technical service providers when required
• Maintain clear documentation of servicing histories, faulty items, and equipment replacements
• Perform routine safety and functionality checks across hospital departments
• Monitor facility utility systems to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
• Handle ad-hoc facility maintenance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree or HND in Engineering, Technical Facility Management, or a related field with 1 - 3 years experience.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
