Job Title: Business Development Executive Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Financial Services Location: Lagos Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering client relationships to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Job Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients, including high-net-worth individuals,
- corporate entities, and institutional investors, to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of
- client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment analysts, portfolio managers, and
- legal advisors, to tailor financial products and services to meet client needs.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with the
- Company’s objectives and market trends.
- Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring increased revenue and profitability.
- Track progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends,
- opportunities, and potential threats, providing insights to inform business strategies.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients to secure new
- business.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and agreements to prospective clients to
- close deals.
- Maintain accurate records of business activities, client interactions, and sales progress.
- Prepare regular reports for management on performance and gives market insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is
- required. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CIS, ICAN) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship
- management roles within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- in a competitive market environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build
- rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
- and achieving business objectives.
