About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the organization’s financial reporting and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting entries.
- Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Support payroll processing and statutory payments where required.
- Monitor budgets and identify financial discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, banks, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial documentation.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Must reside in Oshodi or its environs and be able to commute conveniently to the workplace.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and financial documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Professional accounting certification or part-qualification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly, depending on experience and suitability.
