Job Description
- The Quantity Surveyor will manage all costs relating to our construction and development projects. You will ensure that projects remain within budget, value for money is achieved, and all contractual obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for new projects.
- Monitor project budgets and track variations to avoid cost overruns.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Advise on procurement strategies and manage subcontractor/supplier payments.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify works completed against payment applications.
- Prepare interim valuations and final account statements for clients and management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or B.Sc in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction/real estate development.
- Professional membership with NIQS (Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Salary
N200,000 monthly.
