Job title : Senior Document Controller

We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join our team and manage engineering and project documentation across oil and gas projects, ensuring document integrity, compliance, and effective information management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, registration, review, revision, distribution, archiving, and retrieval of engineering, project, vendor, and client documents.
• Administer the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Master Document Register (MDR), document workflows, and transmittals.
• Ensure document accuracy, revision control, traceability, confidentiality, and compliance with Company, client, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary document reviews, approvals, vendor documentation, as-built records, and project handover documentation.
• Prepare document status reports, support audits, and lead document control personnel to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Records & Information Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering/project document control, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead Document Controller role.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, Construction, LNG, or Energy sector.
• Strong hands-on experience with EDMS, Master Document Registers (MDR), document numbering, revision control, transmittals, and engineering documentation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
