Plant & Equipment Mechanic / Electrician (Heavy-Duty)

Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, graders, rollers, pavers, and articulated trucks to ensure maximum fleet availability and minimal downtime.
- The successful candidate will carry out scheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis, hydraulic and electrical repairs, and rapid field breakdown response in line with plant maintenance systems and SOP requirements.
Requirements
- OND / Trade Test Grade I or II (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
- 7+ years’ hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault diagnosis skills
- Experience working with excavators, graders, dozers, rollers, and similar fleet
- Ability to perform workshop and field breakdown repairs under pressure
- Ability to read OEM manuals, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
