MEP QA/QC Engineer (Junior Engineer)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP QA/QC Engineer to ensure that Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect MEP installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of MEP materials, workmanship, and installations.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, checklists, test reports, and NCRs.
• Identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers on quality-related matters.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and HSE requirements.
• Prepare periodic quality reports for project management.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in MEP QA/QC within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation practices and QA/QC procedures.
• Experience preparing ITPs, NCRs, and inspection reports.
• Knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and IEC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, or related software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively on active construction sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001, PMP, LEED, or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and BIM.

Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
