Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to oversee food preparation, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality meals in line with menu standards
- Create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations
- Monitor food inventory and place supply orders when necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Minimize food wastage and manage kitchen costs effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment
- Strong knowledge of local and continental cuisines
- Excellent culinary and food presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Culinary certification is an added advantage.
