Weighbridge Officer

Job Summary
- The weight bridge officer operates and maintains the weighbridge, accurately weighing trucks and recording data for inventory and logistics.
- Manage traffic flow, issue weight tickets, and report discrepancies or safety issues.
- The person also generates reports and ensures compliance with site rules and safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Weight Recording:-Accurately Weigh vehicles (gross, tare, and net weight) and document data in software systems.
- Documentation: Issue weight tickets, verify waybills, and process delivery orders.
- Traffic Management: Direct drivers position vehicles correctly and manage site traffic flow.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure loads comply with legal limits, report discrepancies, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Shall hold the Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Social Science or Engineering related courses.
- Any relevant professional certification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experiences in weighbridge management in a manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft words.
