Test Analyst

Job Description
- To play a critical role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
- You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot defects, write test cases, and execute test plans.
- Analyze requirements and design documents to understand product functionality.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering all aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility.
- Participate in PI planning and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
- Stay up to date on the latest QA methodologies and tools.
- Creating comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, objectives, and approach for testing software and systems.
- Writing detailed test plans and cases to cover various scenarios and ensure thorough testing of functionality, performance, and usability.
- Conducting both manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in software and systems.
- Documenting and reporting defects with clear and concise descriptions, including steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
- Performing regression testing to ensure that new code changes or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Qualifications
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification can be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 3 - 6 years of experience with software testing methodologies and test execution (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing).
