Medical Sales Representative

Sector: Pharmaceuticals State/Region: Enugu Career path: Sales and Marketing Contract type: Long-term Experience required: Min 2 years POSITION: Medical Sales Representative PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales, marketing, customer engagement, product visibility. Main responsibilities:

1. Seek and develop new potential customers for pharmaceutical products and services.
2. Increase the awareness and educate existing and potential customers (distributors, medical practitioners, healthcare centers, government agencies, hospitals, donor agencies, pharmacies, PPMVs etc.) on pharmaceutical products.
3. Visit and maintain good contact with existing and potential customers.
4. Make presentations on new products and services to existing and potential customers.
5. Ensure seamless purchasing experience for customers. Communicate with the supply chain team where necessary to achieve this.
6. Ensure the visibility and proper usage and uptake of products after supply to customers.
7. Collect feedback from the field (good and bad) on products, company practices, and market trends to report to the company for potential correction or implementation where relevant.
8. Represent the company appropriately and positively, in conferences, daily work, exhibitions, trade shows, rallies etc.
9. Prepare weekly sales and marketing reports.
10. Work with the area sales manager and other sales reps to achieve assigned sales targets for the region.

Professional requirements (minimum): 1. Bachelor’s Degree or HND Preferred- B. Pharm, BSc/HND (Biological sciences, Sciences & Maths, Business Admin, Economics, Marketing) 2. Candidate should preferably reside in Enugu. Language required (minimum): English Language, Preferred- English Language, Igbo Software knowledge required (minimum): Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides… OR its equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
