Product Manager

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should be able to;

• Define Product Vision & Strategy Set the long-term direction and goals for the product, aligned with company objectives.
• Market & Customer Research Gather insights from users, competitors, and industry trends to identify opportunities.
• Roadmap Planning Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features based on impact and feasibility.
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver successful products.
• Product Development Oversight Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery.
• Performance Monitoring Track product KPIs (adoption, retention, revenue, etc.) and make data-driven improvements.
• Stakeholder Management Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to executives and other stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement Iterate on features based on feedback, analytics, and evolving market needs.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with relevant years of experience in Product Mangement particularly in Fintech Industry with 5-10 years experience.
• Strategic Vision Ability to define clear product goals and align them with business objectives.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Skilled at interpreting data, identifying trends, and making evidence-based decisions.
• Communication & Storytelling Can clearly articulate product vision, requirements, and updates to stakeholders, engineers, and customers.
• Leadership & Influence Inspires cross-functional teams without direct authority, driving collaboration and accountability.
• Customer-Centric MindsetDeep empathy for users, ensuring products solve real problems and deliver value.
• Technical Understanding Not necessarily coding, but enough technical literacy to work effectively with engineers and understand constraints.
• Adaptability & Resilience Thrives in ambiguity, adjusts quickly to market changes, and manages setbacks constructively.
• Project & Time Management Keeps roadmaps, sprints, and deadlines on track while juggling multiple priorities.
• Innovation & Creativity Generates new ideas, explores opportunities, and challenges the status quo to improve products.
