Human Resources Business Partner - HRBP

Job Summary

  • The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the primary HR representative for Hospital operations in Taraba, providing strategic and operational HR support to management and employees.
  • The role partners with departmental leaders to align workforce strategies with organizational goals, improve employee engagement, strengthen compliance, support talent management initiatives, and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor to management while fostering a productive, compliant, and positive work environment and oversees workforce planning, employee relations, payroll implementation, performance management, HR data management, compliance, and employee engagement while supporting clinical, administrative, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR representative for Hospital operations in Taraba.
  • Provide strategic HR support and guidance to management and employees.
  • Manage end to end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning activities.
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance matter in line with organizational policies and labor laws
  • Drive employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and manage accurate employee data, personnel records, HR databases, workforce documentation and prepare HR reports.
  • Ensure monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of payroll inputs.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics, including headcounts reports, turnover rates, absenteeism trends, workforce demographics, and recruitment statistics.
  • Coordinate staff training, development, and performance review processes.
  • Support leadership with workforce analytics and HR-related decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years progressive HR experience.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR reporting.
