Slum and Rural Health Initiative (SRHIN) - 2 Openings
Role Overview
- Lead policy analysis, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen SRHIN's influence on health policy affecting slum and rural populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing and emerging health policies relevant to SRHIN's mandate
- Develop policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy materials
- Engage with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on policy matters
- Support the design and implementation of advocacy strategies
- Monitor policy developments at federal and state levels and assess implications for SRHIN's work
- Represent SRHIN at relevant policy forums, working groups, and stakeholder meetings
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in health policy analysis or advocacy
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian health policy landscape
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience working with government or regulatory bodies is an advantage.
