Marketer / Sales Representative ## Department Business Development/Marketing ## Reports To Business Development Manager (BDM)/Head of Marketing ## Job Summary The Marketer/Sales Representative is responsible for identifying prospective customers, marketing the company's loan products, generating quality loan applications, managing customer relationships, and achieving business growth while ensuring compliance with the company's credit policies and regulatory requirements. ## Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect individuals, SMEs, traders, corporate organizations, schools, associations, and other potential customers.
• Market and sell the company's loan products, including salary loans, SME loans, trader loans, school fees loans, asset finance, and other financial products.
• Meet and exceed assigned monthly sales, loan disbursement, and portfolio growth targets.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend suitable financial solutions.
• Generate quality loan applications and ensure all required documentation is complete.
• Carry out customer identification (KYC) and preliminary credit assessments before submitting loan applications.
• Follow up on loan applications to ensure timely processing and disbursement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Monitor customers' repayment performance and proactively follow up on overdue accounts in collaboration with the Recovery Unit.
• Conduct regular field visits for customer acquisition, verification, and market intelligence.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer engagements, and pipeline opportunities.
• Submit Daily Movement Plans, Daily Activity Reports, weekly reports, and monthly performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, CBN guidelines, AML/CFT requirements, and all applicable regulations.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold the organization's values and ethical standards.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, community outreach, and promotional activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

## Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' sales or marketing experience in a finance company, microfinance bank, commercial bank, fintech, or other financial institution.
• Professional certifications in marketing or sales are an added advantage.
