Site Engineer

Description
- We are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site and ensure projects are completed according to approved plans, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractors, artisans, and other site workers.
- Ensure construction work meets required quality and safety standards.
- Interpret and implement architectural and engineering drawings.
- Monitor materials used on-site and ensure proper utilisation.
- Track project progress and provide regular site reports.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, contractors, consultants, and other project teams.
- Ensure site activities comply with health and safety requirements.
- Monitor project timelines and report delays or challenges promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper documentation of activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/site supervision, preferably within real estate.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and site operations.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage site activities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/construction software is an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
