Retail Store Manager

We are looking for a result-driven Retail Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management at our various locations in Delta State. Responsibilities: Facilitates the availability and retrieval of goods to the store for the customer’s satisfaction Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimise profitability Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc. Propose innovative ideas to increase market share Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.). Ensure a routine check is carried out to identify and report soon-to-expire products Ensure timely supply to sales representatives' requests for products needed on the shelf and proper tagging of price changes Control losses that arise from damaged products, product stock-outs, and expired products Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations and liaise with government agencies Additional store manager duties as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possess an exemption letter. Must be computer literate and able to work using Microsoft packages.
