Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our middle and senior school team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Home Economics to students in 7-9 and Fashion Design and Garment Making to students inYear 10 -12,creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering a love of learning in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Home Economics/Fashion Design and Garment Making and Agriculture: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to students in Year 7-9.
  Keep parents informed about student progress and involvement during parents-teachers meeting as well as
• Create a supportive learning environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess student progress: Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues: Work with other teachers to develop curriculum and share best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics or a related field
• Teaching certification: TRCN
• Experience: Previous teaching experience, especially in Home Economics and Garment Making, is an asset.
