Industry: Hotel / Shortlet / Serviced Apartments Location: Apo, Abuja Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Open for Negotiation About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Apartment/Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and business performance of a hospitality property. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, excellent guest experiences, strong occupancy and revenue performance, effective cost control, and a high-performing team. This role is particularly suited to a hands-on hospitality professional who can build systems, lead people, drive revenue, and maintain operational standards. Key Responsibilities Operations & Property Management Oversee the daily operations of the hotel/apartment property. Ensure rooms, facilities, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and other operations run efficiently. Establish and maintain operational procedures and service standards. Monitor property condition, cleanliness, safety and maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards. Revenue & Business Performance Develop strategies to increase occupancy, room revenue and profitability. Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and other key performance indicators. Support pricing and revenue management decisions. Identify opportunities to increase bookings and revenue. Monitor operating costs and control unnecessary expenses. Sales & Marketing Work with the sales and marketing team to generate bookings. Develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, relocation companies and other business partners. Monitor OTA and online booking performance. Support promotions and other initiatives designed to increase occupancy. Guest Experience Ensure consistently high standards of guest service. Monitor guest feedback, complaints and reviews. Resolve guest issues professionally and promptly. Develop initiatives that encourage repeat business and referrals. People & Leadership Recruit, train, supervise and develop staff. Establish clear responsibilities and performance expectations. Monitor staff productivity and service delivery. Build a professional, accountable and customer-focused team. Financial & Administrative Controls Monitor daily revenue, expenses, cash handling and financial controls. Work closely with the accountant on financial reporting and controls. Review operational reports and take corrective action where necessary. Proven experience managing a hotel, apartment or hospitality property. Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, maintenance and general property operations. Experience managing hospitality staff and departments. Understanding of hotel sales, occupancy and revenue management. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Commercial awareness and ability to work with performance targets. Strong computer and reporting skills. Candidates with experience launching or setting up a new hospitality property will have an advantage.
