About the Role
- We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Boxing Coach to join our fitness and wellness team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, engaging, and effective boxing training sessions while helping members achieve their fitness, boxing, and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group boxing training sessions for members of varying fitness and skill levels.
- Develop personalised training programmes based on clients’ fitness levels, goals, and abilities.
- Teach proper boxing techniques, including stance, footwork, punching, combinations, defence, and conditioning.
- Ensure proper warm-up, cool-down, stretching, and injury-prevention practices during sessions.
- Monitor clients’ progress and provide constructive feedback and motivation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional training environment.
- Ensure boxing equipment is properly used, maintained, and reported when damaged or faulty.
- Deliver engaging boxing and fitness classes that promote member satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain professional relationships with members and contribute to an excellent customer experience.
- Work collaboratively with other trainers and the Operations team to support the overall fitness and wellness objectives of the business.
- Comply with all company policies, health and safety standards, and professional conduct requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Boxing Coach, Boxing Instructor, Personal Trainer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of boxing techniques, fitness training, and conditioning.
- Relevant boxing, fitness, or coaching certification is an advantage.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work with beginners, intermediate, and advanced clients.
- Passion for fitness, boxing, wellness, and helping clients achieve results.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, discipline, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required.
