Truck Engine Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults in diesel truck engines using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform engine repairs, rebuilds, and complete overhauls on heavy-duty trucks.
- Inspect engine components, including pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, cylinder heads, injectors, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on truck engines according to maintenance schedules.
- Replace or repair defective engine parts and components.
- Diagnose and repair cooling, lubrication, fuel, intake, and exhaust system faults.
Requirements
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Expertise in engine overhaul and rebuilding.
- Proficiency in using engine diagnostic software and scan tools.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Heavy-duty diesel engines (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania, Sinotruk, Howo, FAW).
- Electronic Engine Control (ECM/ECU) diagnostics.
- Fuel injection systems (Common Rail and Mechanical).
