Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Assistants

Responsibilities
Functions / Day to day activities:
- Support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities.
- Assist in developing and administering data collection tools.
- Conduct routine field monitoring, data verification, and quality assurance.
- Compile, clean, and analyze project data.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Public Health).
- At least 1 year of experience in M&E or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Own a working laptop.
- Ability to travel to field locations within project implementation areas when required.
- Strong commitment to data quality, confidentiality, and organizational values.
Desirable skills
- A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action in a timely manner
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and either Kanuri or Hausa.
- Interpersonal Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships and maintaining effective communication with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and captivate an audience.
- IT Skills: in regard to the report writing
- Organizational Competence: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
