Lecturer I (Surgery)

Requirements

• MBBS, BDS with registrable Fellowship / Ph.D Evidence of pass at Part one Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree (at least 2 / 2) with PhD.

Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit a typed application indicating the position and Department/Faculty applied for. The application should be accompanied by thirty (30) copies of the applicant's Curriculum Vitae and photocopies of relevant certificates and credentials.

• State of origin and Local Government Area.
• Nationality.
• Permanent home address and current contact address.
• Functional e-mail address and GSM telephone number.
• Marital status and number of children, where applicable.
• Institutions attended with dates.
• Academic and professional qualifications obtained with dates.
• Relevant professional registrations/memberships.
• Detailed employment history, stating positions held, institutions, dates and responsibilities.
• Present employment, rank, grade level/step and salary structure, where applicable.
• Detailed list of publications, clearly distinguishing journal articles, books/chapters, conference proceedings and other scholarly outputs.
• Details of research projects and postgraduate supervision.
• Details of administrative experience and community service.
• Evidence of professional/academic honours and distinctions, where applicable.
• Names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom must be the applicant's current Head of Department or immediate superior, where applicable.
• Any other relevant information in support of the application.

Referees Reports

• Applicants are required to arrange for three (3) referees' reports to be submitted directly by the referees to the Registrar.
  Referees should clearly indicate the applicant's name and position applied for.
