Legal & Company Secretariat Officer
A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Limited
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on contracts, corporate transactions, and internal policies.
- Review and prepare property-related agreements (e.g., sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements).
- Support the Real Estate part of the business.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Manage property-related disputes, including land ownership issues and tenancy matters.
- Ensure adherence to governance policies and procedures.
- Maintain statutory registers and ensure filings with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Process permits, approvals, and development licenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in law (LL. B). BL qualification is required.
- ICSAN certification is an added advantage.
- Basic dispute & litigation knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian property and land laws. • 5 years plus experience in legal practice or company secretariat role.
- Experience in corporate/commercial law is an advantage.
- Knowledge in Real Estate corporate governance & secretariat.
